Scoops of the Day

Lincoln Football brings back red balloon tradition

The balloon release tradition will return to Memorial Stadium for the Nebraska vs. Colorado game. After being halted in 2022 due to a helium shortage and environmental concerns, Nebraska Athletics announced the tradition's comeback to celebrate the 1994 national championship team. Red balloons will be distributed free by Husker Athletics staff around the stadium and released after the Huskers’ first touchdown.

Omaha Salon Helps Kids with Sensory Issues

Claudia Delgado Aguero's Tiny Trims, located at Sensory Suite Spots near 144th and Pacific, is Omaha's only salon dedicated to clients with sensory needs, offering personalized haircuts in a welcoming environment. Claudia and her sister, Juanita Incontro, aim to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and are looking to hire more stylists passionate about sensory-friendly care.

Fields of Flight

Join us for this Amazing Sight as Hot Air Balloons take to the sky at the scenic Apple Orchard in Council Bluffs. Bands start at 5:30 and flights at 6.

Bellevue Bonfire

Join us for an old-fashioned evening of ghost stories around the campfire!
$25 ticket includes hotdog and chips, soda, water, s'mores, activities, games & a Haunted Hayrack Ride. Once the sun begins to set, we will light the bonfire and take turns telling ghost stories!

Rockbrook Village Art Fair

Omaha's best juried art fair! Featuring artists from across the country, our art showcase is designed and dedicated to those who create and appreciate quality works of art. Patriotic Show and Shine

Join us for Omaha's biggest patriotic car show of the year, featuring a wide range of vehicles from classics to hot rods. We'll have a moment of silence at noon, followed by a performance from the Omaha Fire Department's bagpipes and drums. Veterans and first responders can enjoy a free lunch, with vendors and refreshments available for all.
