Omaha's Storm Chasers Win Championship
The Omaha Storm Chasers made history by winning their first International League championship, defeating the Columbus Clippers 7-3 at Werner Park. This victory not only secured their eighth overall title but also made them the first Triple-A team to win championships in three different leagues. Key contributions came from Nelson Velázquez, Brian O'Keefe, and John Rave, with a strong bullpen effort sealing the win. Now, Omaha will face the Sugar Land Space Cowboys in the Triple-A National Championship Game this Saturday.
