Eppley Airfield to Add New Dining and Retail by 2027
Omaha’s Eppley Airfield will feature 19 new concessions in a terminal opening in 2027. Local favorites like Block 16, Runza, and The Mill Coffee & Tea will be joined by national brands like Panda Express and Starbucks. The project is part of the Build OMA Terminal Modernization Program to enhance the traveler experience.
Durham Museum Launches Dragon Exibit
The Durham Museum is launching an exciting new exhibit, "The Lost World of Dragons," which explores dragon mythology across cultures and history. Visitors can delve into the origins of dragon myths and even create their own dragon stories through stop-motion animation. The exhibit, featuring animatronic dragons, runs from Sept. 21 to Dec. 31, 2024.

Silent Book Club: Join us for the September SBCO event at The Bull Moose, where you can enjoy a relaxed evening of silent reading with no assigned books or deadlines—just bring whatever you'd like to read. There’s time to socialize before and after the reading hour. The Bull Moose offers a cozy atmosphere, snacks, and a variety of drinks, making it the perfect spot to unwind and share book recommendations with fellow readers.

Yachtoberfest: Tired of the same old sausage-fest?! Then come to Yachtoberfest for a tiki take on the German tradition! DJs Dark & Stormy will be spinning the smooooth rock all night long while the Laka crew craft cocktails that will light up your lederhosen! September Art Walk: Bring the entire family for an evening out in the Joslyn Castle neighborhood along 40th Street, between Dodge and Cuming Streets. District partners Cathedral Arts Project Omaha, Cali Commons, Joslyn Castle & Gardens, and the Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association, are looking forward to opening up our venues for an evening of art, food, and fun!
